Increase in traffic frequencies on all connections

With frequency increases and a new terminal connection in traffic between Italy, Germany and Benelux, traffic with Mortara in northern Italy we are entering the next round. Kombiverkehr is thus expanding the range of intermodal services on an important European transport corridor via Switzerland for its customers from the forwarding and logistics sectors. The trains between Mortara and Krefeld and Mortara and Rotterdam CTT will be extended to a total of five round trips per week from 6 September. As of 20 September, the existing offer on the Mortara – Ghent v.v. connection will be increased from five to six weekly train departures in both directions. Eight round trips per week are planned on this connection from January 2022.

Also in September – on 9 September to be precise – the terminal in Venlo, the Netherlands, will be newly included in the Benelux/Italy service offering with five departures per week and direction.
