With ten more train departures per week and direction, our service offering in Italian traffic has now increased to 260 train departures per week! If you are a freight forwarder and still transport your goods and merchandise by road across the Alps, you should find the service route that suits you best at Kombiverkehr. Whether via Brenner, Tauern or Gotthard.

2.6 tonnes less CO2

Incidentally, the final destination in Melzo is the Rail Hub Milano. The terminal, which is located about 25 kilometres east of Milan, is a proven starting point and destination for the pre-carriage and onward carriage of goods by road to and from the industrial and commercial enterprises in the Milan economic area. With a transit time of only 20 hours, we offer forwarders the possibility of a fast and also extremely environmentally friendly transport chain. The round trip saves 2.6 tonnes of CO2 when transporting 25 tonnes of cargo, which is a saving of more than 80 percent compared to continuous road transport. The traffic days are Mondays to Fridays in both directions. In addition to containers and swap bodies, semi-trailers with P400 profile can be booked. From Cologne, Hamburg, the German Baltic Sea ports of Kiel and Lübeck as well as terminals in Denmark and Sweden can be reached in forwarding traffic.
